Welcome to cm-cars.eu ("Website"). By accessing, using this website, or making a vehicle reservation/rental, you expressly accept and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

PART A: VEHICLE RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Renter's Liability

Upon signing this agreement, the renter assumes sole responsibility for the condition of the vehicle.

2. Vehicle Pick-up & Return

Upon picking up the vehicle, the renter inspects its condition. Upon return, the vehicle must be in the exact same condition as when collected.

3. Driver Age & Driving License

• Minimum Age Limit: 21 years of age for all vehicles.
• License Validity: Drivers must hold a valid driving license issued at least two (2) years prior to the start of the rental.

4. Required Documents & ID Verification (Originals Only)

Rentals are completed strictly upon presentation of original documents:

• ID Card / Passport: Original Greek Identity Card or valid Passport (PHOTOCOPIES ARE STRICTLY NOT ACCEPTED).
• European Driving License: Only the original driving license issued by the issuing country is accepted.
• Non-EU Citizens: An International Driving Permit (IDP) is mandatory, strictly accompanied by the original national driving license and passport.

5. Early Vehicle Return & Late Return Fees

• Early return: In the event the vehicle is returned prior to the expiration of the agreed rental period, NO refund will be issued.
• Late return: The first (1st) hour of delay is free of charge. From the second (2nd) hour onwards, a fee equal to one-third (1/3) of the daily rental rate applies per hour. After three (3) hours of delay, the full daily rental rate will be charged.

6. Traffic Fines & Administrative Penalties

Traffic citations, fines, and administrative penalties arising from violations are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the renter.

7. Payment Method & Security Deposit

The renter is required to provide a credit card as a rental guarantee/deposit, even if payment is made in cash. Rentals must be prepaid.

8. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations 21 days or more prior to arrival: The full deposit amount will be refunded. Any transaction fees, bank charges, or processing commissions are borne exclusively by the customer and will be deducted from the refund amount.
• Cancellations less than 21 days prior to arrival: The customer is required to pay 50% of the total amount for the cancelled days.

9. Additional Driver

The primary driver is included free of charge. The charge for an additional driver is €5.00 / day. The additional driver is subject to the exact same age and documentation requirements. If an undeclared individual is found driving the vehicle, a €100.00 fine will be imposed, and all insurance coverage will be immediately voided.

10. Fuel Policy

The renter must return the vehicle with the exact same fuel level as received. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than at departure, the customer will be charged the difference. No refunds will be provided if the vehicle is returned with more fuel.

11. Accident Procedure

In the event of an accident, the renter must immediately notify both the company and the police, and provide the official police report upon return. In the event of an accident where the customer is at fault, a €30.00 case administration fee applies, along with payment of the full daily rental rate for the days the vehicle remains immobilized (loss of use).

12. Insurance & Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

• Third-Party Liability Insurance: Covers third-party property damage and bodily injuries. Bodily injuries and property damage resulting from driver fault are not covered.
• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with Excess: The excess (deductible) is set at €1,500.00. In the event of an at-fault accident or a single-vehicle incident, the driver pays up to €1,500.00. If the damage exceeds this amount, the insurance provider covers the remainder, on the strict condition that no violation of the Highway Code (K.O.K.) has occurred.
• Insurance Exclusions: No insurance policy covers damage to tires, windshields, window breakage, damages to the undercarriage (chassis) or the interior of the vehicle, nor the loss/theft of personal belongings.

13. Roadside Assistance

Roadside assistance in the event of a breakdown or accident is provided free of charge exclusively during official business operating hours.

14. Special Restrictions

For this vehicle, the following are strictly prohibited without prior written authorization:

• Driving outside the borders of Greece.
• Transporting the vehicle on a ferry boat.

All content, logos, and written materials on this website are the intellectual property of CM Cars. Any reproduction or republication of all or part of this content without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

4. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Greek Law. Any dispute or legal conflict arising from their implementation shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located at the company's registered seat.
